1960s

Thalia Tejeda Taylor (BA ’69) received the 2023 Women Celebrating Women award for service and volunteerism in the St. Peter, Minnesota, community during National Women’s History Month.

1970s

Dr. John “Jack” Teeple (MS ’74) celebrated his 50-year anniversary as a psychologist. He earned his master’s degree at Saint Francis in 1974, and his doctorate from Spalding University in Louisville in 1988. He continues a part-time private practice online and may retire in the near future.

1990s

Dr. Joseph Steensma (BS ’94) has been inducted by the Royal Academy of Engineering as a visiting professor of innovation and entrepreneurship. He will be working with them and The Engineering and Design Institute-London (TEDI) to foster a culture of innovation and a community of change agents in London and beyond.

Jennifer (Beatty) Poole (BSN ’97) is director of behavioral health services at Methodist Hospitals. She was featured in an article addressing how social media affects behavioral skills. Access the article.

2010s

Amy (McKee) Davis (BA ’12) and her husband Blaine welcomed their first child, a boy named Arlo Winston, on Aug. 1, 2023.

Ben Ogden (MAT ’17) was promoted to credit analyst officer at Crossroads Bank. He and his wife Casey have twin boys and reside in Huntington, Indiana. Access the full article.

Cadence Faurote (BA ’18) started a new position as the executive assistant to the vice president for Catholic culture and student life at Saint Francis.

Hannah Elzinga, SHRM-CP (BS ’18) started a new position as human resource manager at Vanlaan Concrete Construction.

Valorie Flick Wells (BS ’19) was named head coach of the volleyball program at Wapahani High School in Selma.

Colin White (BA ’19, BA ’23) started a new position at Saint Francis as the graduate assistant/resident director. He is also pursuing a master’s degree in healthcare administration.

2020s

Conlan Martin (BS ’21) was named assistant coach for the Ottawa University men’s basketball program.

Francine Muhlenkamp (BA ’21) started a position as a leasing agent in August for CYM Living in Fort Wayne.
