Beatrice Royal (BSE ’92) was recognized as the Saint Mother Theodore Guerin Administrator Award winner for the Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend.

Danielle (Vonderau) Kiefer (BA ’99) presented a solo art exhibition, “Wild and Free,” at the Botanical Conservatory in Fort Wayne from April 16 through May 19.

2000s

Joey Didier (BA ’06, MBA ’13) started a job with the Fort Wayne/Indianapolis team at Northwestern Mutual.

Kera (Prasuhn) Sutherland (BSW ’07) was promoted to regional director with Connections Case Management, LLC on April 1. Since 2018 she has worked as a case manager, supervisor and field operations manager.

Rachel Michaelis (BSE ’08, MSE ’12) was selected as Woodlan High School Teacher of the Year. She serves as special education department chair.

Tara Pettigrew (BSN ’08) started a job as assistant director of simulation at the University of Saint Francis.

2010s

Dr. Joshua Fairbanks (BS ’12, BS ’13, MS ’17, MOL ’22, MBA ’23) is starting a new position as chair, Department of Medical Science, at the University of Saint Francis.

Casey (BS ’14) and Joey Dynako (BS ’14) welcomed daughter Irene “Renie” Rose on April 16.

Samantha (Goddard) Phend (BA ’16) started a new position as graphic designer with Manchester University.

Dr. Sean Kampe (BS ’17) recently graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and will begin his career as a veterinarian for the United States Army.

Cameron Shackelford Jr. (BSW ’17) added a new position as coach at Courageous Healing, Inc.

Melody Ferrier (MA ’19) started a new job as a branch assistant at the Allen County Public Library.

Jack Harris (BS ’20) graduated from Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Later this summer he will start a job as a veterinarian at New Haven Animal Hospital.

Meagan Roy (BS ’20) earned a doctorate degree in veterinary medicine from Ohio State University.

Courtney Stise (BS ’21) earned a master’s degree in biology from Purdue Fort Wayne.

Alaina (Ganser) Hardy (BS ’22) started a position as an advanced emergency medical technician at East Central Fire and EMS. She married Jacob Hardy (BS ’23) on May 3.
