Roebel Family Print Collection
Nov. 2 through Dec. 13

This exhibit features a historical collection of prints from American and European masters from the 17th through 20th centuries. The exhibit runs from Nov. 2 through Dec. 13 at the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The galleries are closed Thanksgiving weekend, Wednesday, Nov. 27. through Sunday, Dec. 1.

Christmas at the Castle Tours
Dec. 6 through 15 (Fridays through Sundays only)

Enjoy the beauty and history of Brookside mansion with over 120 holy crèches (nativity scenes) on display. This is a self-guided tour with university volunteers present to share historical information about our beautiful facility. This is a ticketed event. Purchase tickets for you and your family on your preferred day.



Breakfast with St. Nicholas
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Learn about the legacy of St. Nicholas while enjoying breakfast, story time, crafts and other activities. This is a ticketed event. Purchase tickets for you and your family.



Holiday Art Bazaar
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This bazaar features Saint Francis faculty, students, staff and alumni from all disciplines who are producing creative works. Their products will be offered at a holiday bazaar throughout the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center. This event includes live music and free tote bags (designed by a Saint Francis student) for the first 200 patrons.



Lighting of the Lake and Living Nativity
Sunday, Dec. 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The blessing of luminaries, which encircle Mirror Lake, will honor loved ones. The portrayal of the Living Nativity, recreating St. Francis’ first Living Nativity, will follow outside St. Francis Oratory. End the evening with cookies and hot cocoa at the Achatz Hall of Science and John and Toni Murray Research Center. Murder in the Mansion
Friday, Feb. 7 and Saturday, Feb. 8

Put on your detective cap because Brookside has become the scene of a crime and Detective Inspector Dick Lacey needs your help to determine the culprit. You’ll find suspects throughout the mansion who will share their stories and answer questions to help you solve the case. Come dressed as your favorite movie, television or literary sleuth and figure out who dunnit! Will it be Shaggy, Scooby and the Mystery Inc. gang, Scully and Mulder, Sherlock and Watson, Inspector Clouseau, Nancy Drew or Columbo that solves the crime?

Costume is not required to attend. This is a ticketed event. Purchase tickets for you and your family on your preferred day.
