Christmas at the Castle Tours
Dec. 6 through 15 (Fridays through Sundays only)
Enjoy the beauty and history of Brookside mansion with over 120 holy crèches (nativity scenes) on display. This is a self-guided tour with university volunteers available to share historical information about our beautiful facility. This is a ticketed event. Purchase tickets for you and your family on your preferred day.
Breakfast with St. Nicholas
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon
Learn about the legacy of St. Nicholas while enjoying breakfast, story time, crafts and other activities. This is a ticketed event. Purchase tickets for you and your family.
Holiday Art Bazaar
Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
This bazaar features Saint Francis faculty, students, staff and alumni from all disciplines who are producing creative works. Their products will be offered at a holiday bazaar throughout the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center. This event includes live music and free tote bags (designed by a Saint Francis student) for the first 200 patrons.
Lighting of the Lake and Living Nativity
Sunday, Dec. 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The blessing of luminaries, which encircle Mirror Lake, will honor loved ones. The portrayal of the Living Nativity, recreating St. Francis’ first Living Nativity, will follow outside St. Francis Oratory. End the evening with cookies and hot cocoa in Achatz Hall of Science and John and Toni Murray Research Center.
