Sister Mary Augustine Warrell

Bio

Sr. Mary Augustine earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from Indiana University South Bend in 2011, a master’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Michigan State University in 2013 and a master’s degree in theology from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio in 2018. 

She worked the past six years in the Franciscan healthcare apostolate as a non-clinical employee in a variety of roles. She most recently served as the vice president of mission in the Dyer/Munster Franciscan Health hospitals.

She will serve as an organic chemistry and general chemistry tutor and teach two sections of FYS 100 Encounter.
