Dr. Susan Lown
Bio
Professor Lown has been teaching nursing at USF since 2008. Professor Lown’s teaching and professional development activities demonstrate a commitment to providing the most effective and up to date educational experience for every student. Her depth of dedication to service, leadership, readily shared wisdom, and advocacy for students is exemplary.
Professor Lown practices home infusion nursing and serves as a member of the vascular access team at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is a reviewer for the Journal of Infusion Nursing and a member of the National Council of Education for the Infusion Nurse’s Society. Professor Lown has served as an American Red Cross Blood Program Leader since 2016, facilitating the collection of over 2000 units of blood for the local community.
