FORT WAYNE, Ind.— The University of Saint Francis invites the public to “Voices of Feminism” on Thursday, March 27, 5:30 to 7 p.m., at the campus, 2701 Spring Street.
The free event, which celebrates art, poetry and equality, will take place in the Parkview Physicians Group Auditorium, Room 226, of Achatz Hall of Science and John and Toni Murray Research Center.
Students, staff and faculty will read from a selection of feminist and original poetry, share art, and offer discussion at the end of the program.
Professor Chelsie McCorkle, Dr. Lou Weber, Professor Jane Martin and Economic Security Specialist at the Women’s Fund Chynna Presley will be featured presenters. They will discuss inclusive feminism, women in science, women in film and women in Allen County, respectively. Light snacks will be available.
