FORT WAYNE, Ind.—The University of Saint Francis is pleased to announce that Amelia Clark, DrPH, executive director of the Center for Integrated Public Health Education and Research (CIPHER), 
has been appointed to the executive board of the Indiana Department of Health (IDOH) by Governor Eric J. Holcomb.
Clark will begin her four-year term in November. Through her appointment, she will join community, clinical and professional representatives to advise IDOH on efforts to promote, protect and improve the health and safety of Hoosiers.
“We are very proud of Dr. Clark’s appointment to the Indiana Department of Health’s executive board,” Saint Francis Interim President Dr. Lance Richey said. “Under Dr. Clark’s leadership, Saint Francis has increased our public health coursework, forged opportunities for students to become public health fellows and broadened the University’s involvement with the public health sector in Allen and surrounding counties. We look forward to Dr. Clark’s continued leadership on campus and in public health for the state of Indiana.”
