USF Student Record Label to Host Album Launch Party

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The University of Saint Francis invites Fort Wayne and the surrounding community to the first-ever record album launch party of Marble Lounge Records artist Rosalind & The Way. The launch party, which will take place on April 27, 6-10 p.m. at the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center, features opening performances from area artists. Local food trucks Bravas and Flora + Lily’s will be on hand to provide refreshments.

Marble Lounge Records is a student-run record label developed through a collaboration between the Media Entrepreneurship Training in the Arts (META) program and the USF Music Technology program. The META team has managed all marketing and business aspects of operating a record label and producing an artist, while the Music Technology program has managed the production and recording technologies of the music.
Attendees of the party will be able to purchase a limited release album featuring singles personally produced by Rob Mathes, an Emmy-winning, Grammy, Tony and Drama Desk Award nominated producer, arranger/composer and music director who USF hosted to work directly with Marble Lounge Records and Rosalind & The Way. Additionally, attendees will be able to pre-order vinyl albums and purchase Marble Lounge Records and Rosalind & The Way merchandise.
