FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The University of Saint Francis’ Radiologic Technology program received confirmation on February 5, 2018, from the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) that it was awarded with an eight-year re-accreditation. The program was evaluated according to the Standards for an Accredited Educational Program in Radiography in 2017 through the submission of a Report of Self Study and an onsite visit. JRCERT also granted USF the maximum award of eight years at the previous site visit in 2009. The next site visit is tentatively scheduled for the second quarter of 2025.
In the award letter, the program was commended by the committee for achieving the maximum award of accreditation and was commended on offering a quality program in Radiologic Technology. The program’s graduates have consistently achieved 100% pass rates on the certification examination administered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for the past 23 years. And, for the last five years, 100% of program graduates have secured employment.
“These outcomes are evidence of the exceptional program quality, stellar faculty team and competent graduates we have in our Radiologic Technology Program,” said Dr. Mindy Yoder, Dean of the School of Health Sciences.
