Student Employment
It’s About More Than a Paycheck
Planning to work while you earn your degree? Consider a student position on campus. Gain experience, work with fellow students, and benefit from employers who understand your student schedule. Working on campus is a great way to connect to the broader Saint Francis community while taking care of your financial health.
Work Study
Work Study is a federal student aid program similar to grants. In short, the Office of Federal Student Aid splits the cost of your paycheck with your employer. This program supports you with career-ready experience and supports Saint Francis with more student employment positions to offer.
Your work-study offer is determined by your FAFSA and awarded as part of the financial aid package. If you have work study as part of your financial aid package, you will need to complete an application in order to secure a position. Saint Francis’ Career Development Center will assist students in finding positions.
On-Campus Employment
We also offer a number of student positions you can just apply for with or without work study. Students have the opportunity to work up to 20 hours per week on campus. A variety of options are available, and once enrolled, students will be directed to specific employment opportunities.
