Transfer Admissions

Transfer to Saint Francis.

The University of Saint Francis welcomes transfer students and works to make the transfer process simple. It all begins with completing our online application and submitting your transcripts. If you’ve completed a minimum of 24 credit hours at another college and are not applying as a student-athlete or to a program in the College of Health Sciences, your college transcripts are sufficient for application.

Once you’ve applied

Saint Francis wants you to get the most out of the academic work you’ve completed.

  • A Saint Francis admissions counselor can help evaluate what existing credits may be eligible for transfer after reviewing your transcript.
  • Coursework from an accredited institution, for which a C or above was earned, can count toward your Saint Francis degree.
  • If you earned credit from Ball State, Indiana Tech, Purdue University Fort Wayne, Ivy Tech or Trine University, see their guidelines for information on commonly transferred courses.
  • Saint Francis has articulation agreements with other institutions to facilitate the completion of an advanced degree.

Scholarships for Transfer Students

Saint Francis also offers generous scholarship opportunities for transfer students. In addition to eligibility for the Catholic and Creative Arts Talent Scholarships, the Transfer Scholarship offers up to $10,000 to transfer students based on their cumulative GPA.
