Saint Francis celebrated another successful Homecoming during the weekend of Sept. 27-29. Saturday’s game-day activities included morning Mass in the Oratory of St. Francis, donuts and conversations in the Mimi and Ian Rolland Art and Visual Communication Center and a reunion tailgate party celebrating current and retired faculty, staff, coaches and alumni outside Bishop D’Arcy Stadium.
Saint Francis sports fans enjoyed a doubleheader of action, with the football team playing Madonna University and the women’s soccer team playing Indiana Wesleyan. The Class of 1974 celebrated their 50-year class reunion Mass together on Sunday in the Oratory of St. Francis and enjoyed brunch with their classmates afterward in Brookside.
Events began on Friday afternoon, with a ladies’ tea in the Brookside parlor. Director of Mission Programming Megan Quigley shared updates about key mission initiatives and how they impact the campus community.
