Saint Francis fans participated in a wide variety of activities over Homecoming weekend on Oct. 13, 14 and 15. Friday afternoon featured a traditional ladies’ tea in Brookside’s drawing room. Assistant Director of the Assisi Program for Discipleship and Leadership Megan Quigley shared updates about the students who participate in the program, and how they impact the campus community.
Due to rainy conditions, Saint Francis moved Friday night’s activities indoors so that alumni could enjoy refreshments and live music at the Cougar Den.
On Saturday, the Alumni Association distributed T-shirts, and the GK Pastry Truck and Creative Dining provided brunch. Attendees had the chance to tour the esports arena and watch the men’s alumni soccer game, and women’s and men’s alumni basketball games. The football team capped the day by beating the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils 56-7.
On Sunday the Class of 1973 celebrated their 50-year class reunion Mass together in the St. Francis Chapel and enjoyed brunch with their classmates afterward.
