Close to 150 alumni and friends representing six decades of alumni enjoyed baseball and camaraderie during Alumni Night at Parkview Field on June 6. This special event offered seating in the Home Run Porch area of the stadium, pre-game music and impressive post-game fireworks. Johnny Cougar posed for photos and threw out the first pitch which was a strike!
Special guests included President Dr. Lance Richey, Vice President for Catholic Culture and Student Life Sr. Maria Gemma, Assistant Director of the St. Benedict the Moor Justice Center Sr. Mary Joseph, Director of Community Engagement Sr. Elise Kriss and members of the Alumni Association.
“This special event is always a great opportunity for alumni to reconnect with fellow Cougars, and the fun atmosphere allows everyone to socialize and take in a game at the same time. This event will continue to be a winning tradition with our alumni,” Director of Alumni Relations Tony Didier said.
