Leadership Fort Wayne (LFW) is a nine-month program that develops leadership skills for each participant. Class members learn about community history, public safety, inclusion, diversity and equity, which helps prepare them to make a positive impact in the community and their workplaces. Many graduates of the program serve on or lead nonprofit boards, hold elected office or own businesses.
The 2024 class launched the beginning of their schedule in January at the Saint Francis Historic Woman’s Club. Monthly meetings will follow through September and graduation is scheduled during the LFW alumni ceremony in October.
Saint Francis participants are Brok Lahrman (BS ’09), Lake City Bank; Executive Director of Creative Arts Alison Miyauchi; and Elaine Wilson (MBA ’18), Saint Anne Communities.
