Deposits
In order to secure housing, a $200 refundable housing deposit is required. This amount is not covered by scholarships, grants or loans. The Housing Contract is not in effect and no space will be provided or assigned unless The Residential Life Office is in receipt of a completed Housing Contract and the required deposit. This deposit functions exactly like a Security Deposit for a rental property; any damages a student makes to a room or common area will be deducted from their housing deposit. The remainder of the money is returned when the student moves out of the residence halls permanently (not just for summer break). Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing and returning of housing deposits.
Only students who have been accepted and who have deposited should fill out housing contacts.
To sign up to live on campus for the 2013-2014 academic year you can print off a copy of our housing contract, and USF health and physical exam form. If you are a first year student and would like to be placed on a waiting list for Padua Hall, please also fill out the Padua Hall Contract addendum. Return the contract, heath forms, and your deposit to the Office of Residential Life, 2701 Spring Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
