Radiologic Technology

ACCREDITATION

In 2009, the program was granted the maximum accreditation of 8 years by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT). This is the third consecutive time the program has been granted the maximum award.

Program effectiveness data is available at www.jrcert.org.

The program effectiveness measures for 2011 are as follows: Program completion - 62%; Job Placement - 100%; and Credentialing exam pass rate - 100%. This is updated annually in July.

The following is an explanation of each of these program measures:

Completion Rate - This is the number of students that begin the program divided by the number of students that actually complete the program. It is measured annually.

Credentialing Examination Pass Rate - This is the number of students that pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination on the first attempt.

Job Placement Rate - This is the percentage of graduates who are employed within six months of graduation.

Questions regarding accreditation may be directed to the JRCERT at 20 North Wacker Drive, Suite 2850, Chicago IL 60606-3182, (312) 704-5300.
