02.12.14 USF planetarium show with star narrator debuts this weekend
WinterFest 2014 at Schouweiler Planetarium at the University of Saint Francis will debut a show a year in the making, “The Planets,” narrated by “Star Trek: Voyager” TV show star Kate Mulgrew, this Saturday and Sunday, and repeat the show Friday through Sunday, Feb. 21-23. A new cartoon favorite, “Larry Cat in Space,” will also entertain young sky-viewers, their families and friends, as part of the planetarium’s two-weekend annual event. Read more...

The artistic talent of regional high school students will be featured in the 38th annual High School Art Exhibition at the Weatherhead Gallery in Rolland Center for Art and Visual Communication at the University of Saint Francis from March 6-23. Don Appiarius has joined the University of Saint Francis as its Dean of Students. The appointment was announced by Dr. Andrew Prall, Vice President for Academic Affairs. As Dean of Students, Appiarius will oversee all aspects of Student Life, including residence life, commuter services, student activities, and student academic services.Lee completed a Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a concentration in insurance at Ball State University. The Student Nurses Association of the University of Saint Francis is asking local residents to get chilly for a cause—the Cougar Chill—to raise funds for Hoosier Burn Camp, which provides an expense-free summer camp experience for young men and women who have experienced injuries from burns.
