USF Crown Point offering nursing conference through NWINRC

Oct. 2, 2013 CROWN POINT, Ind.—The 21st annual Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Conference will be offered by the Northwest Indiana Nursing Research Consortium (NWINRC), of which the University of Saint Francis Crown Point is a member, on Nov. 8 from 7:45 a.m.-noon at Avalon Manor, 3550 E. U.S. Highway 30, Merrillville, Ind.

The session, entitled “Healthy Work Environments in Nursing,” will feature keynote speaker Cynthia Clark, RN, PhD, ANEF, FAAN, a professor in the School of Nursing at Boise State University in Iowa. Clark will address “Creating and Sustaining Civility in Nursing: Strategies to Address Incivility and Bullying in the Workplace.”

This program has been submitted for 3.0 nursing contact hours. Valparaiso University College of Nursing (ONA-436, 12/1/2015) is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Ohio Nurses Association (OBN-001-91), an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
