Sister Elaine Brothers appointed USF director, committee member
Dec. 19, 2013 FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Sister M. Elaine Brothers, OSF, has been appointed a director at the University of Saint Francis (USF). She will serve on the Academic Affairs Committee of the USF board. She is Vice President for Education at Franciscan Alliance in Mishawaka, Ind. and previously served for nine years as Vice President for Academic Affairs on the University of Saint Francis Fort Wayne campus and for one year as interim dean at the University of Saint Francis Crown Point.
Sister Elaine Brothers has served on the Diocesan School Board for the Catholic Diocese of Fort Wayne-South Bend, the Board of Trustees at the University of Saint Francis, Area Academic Officers in Fort Wayne, the Council of Independent Colleges, the American Association of Higher Education, the Project for Civic Reflection Project funded by the Lilly Endowment and the NCEA Seminary Division executive committee. She has also served as an accreditation visit team member for the Association of Theological Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
