The Challenge Course is a unique way to fulfill the physical education component of the university’s general education requirements. Taking place from Friday to Sunday morning, students in the Challenge Course engage in activities from wall climbing and rope courses to yoga, square dancing and canoeing. The course is designed to take students out of their comfort zone to build self-confidence and individual esteem, as well as encourage team-building and camaraderie. The course receives consistently high reviews from students, and is offered in the fall of each academic year. An additional fee will be assessed for those enrolled in the course. Additional coursework is required online.
