Licensing and Continuing Education
Continuing education activities are integral to keeping professional skills sharp and knowledge current.
Indiana law mandates that educators renew teaching/counseling licenses on a regular basis. We assist potential teachers and counselors in meeting state licensing requirements and support the on-going development of educators.
Continuing Education Options
- Licensure programs for individuals holding bachelor’s degrees who wish to become licensed teachers.
- Professional Development, including Best Practices Showcase and Northeast Indiana Literacy Council
- Professional Studies Academy, where university courses are offered at a deep discount.
- 21st Century Interventions Certificate program
- Coursework for current teachers wishing to add additional content areas to their licenses.
