Extra Financial Aid Help for Veterans
Students who qualify for Post 9-11 VA Benefits and participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program will receive a matching grant from USF. Students may renew this grant as long as they maintain a 2.0 GPA and remain in good Academic Standing to receive Financial Aid. The Yellow Ribbon Program is a provision of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, which allows U.S. higher education institutions to partner with the Veteran's Administration (VA) to fund veteran tuition expenses that exceed VA tuition caps. Through Yellow Ribbon, USF splits the overage with the VA to provide veterans with full tuition coverage.
One hundred undergraduate awards will be available, in addition to 10 graduate awards in USF School of Creative Arts, School of Arts and Sciences, Keith Busse School of Business and Entrepreneurial Leadership and School of Professional Studies degrees per academic year.
