20th Annual CEO Forum

The 20th annual CEO Forum, “The Future of Entrepreneurship: Redefining the Marketplace,” will explore methods for expanding business horizons. The forum will be held Oct. 17 at the USF Performing Arts Center.

Four speakers, addressing the audience in individual segments, will focus on the need to pursue commerce outside the traditional marketplace in order to further entrepreneurial growth. The speakers are: Todd Schwartz, Deputy Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs in the Bureau of Economic and Business Affairs, U.S. Department of State (who will deliver the keynote address); Scott Glaze, Chief Executive Officer of Fort Wayne Metals; Maciek Szaferski, EDM Products Direct; and Lori Berndt, President, The Olive Twist.

In addition to this year’s change of venue, alterations have been made to the event’s format. First, in lieu of a panel discussion, an informal discussion will follow the speakers’ presentations, with speakers then opening up topics with the audience to conclude the event. Also, a buffet breakfast will be served prior to the keynote address.

Registration and ticket purchasing are at ceoforum2013.eventbrite.com. For more information on speakers’ presentations and the event schedule, visit our website.
