Collecting Easter Baskets for SCAN

The Northeast Indiana Alumni Directors Consortium (NIADC) is hosting its annual Easter Basket Drive March 1-26. Easter baskets collected from 10 area colleges and universities, including the University of Saint Francis, will be donated to SCAN (Stop Child Abuse and Neglect).

Last year, more than 1,700 Easter baskets were collected and distributed to the families that SCAN serves. This year’s goal is to collect 2,000 wrapped Easter baskets, which the Alumni Directors will deliver to SCAN on March 27. Baskets may be dropped off at the University of Saint Francis, IPFW, Ivy Tech, Trine, Huntington, Manchester, Grace, or Indiana Wesleyan. For more information at USF, please contact Director of Alumni Relations Jessica Swinford at 260-399-8032 or jswinford@sf.edu.

SCAN is a not-for-profit organization that works to eliminate child abuse by “preparing parents and protecting children.” Established in 1974, the organization serves 13 counties in northern Indiana, including Allen County.
