USF Spring Play “To Kill a Mockingbird” - 4.05.13-4.07.13 and 4.12.13-4.14.13
The School of Creative Arts at the University of Saint Francis will stage “To Kill a Mockingbird,” directed by Brad Beauchamp, during the spring semester. This dramatization of Harper Lee's novel, To Kill a Mockingbird, is storytelling at its best with one of the most enduring stories of our time. The drama provides a compelling look at justice and the human spirit, as told through the eyes of a young girl learning the ambiguities and realities of adulthood.
This timeless classic compels us to take an honest look at our nation’s past and our moral responsibility to one another. The fundamental lessons of compassion, justice, integrity and courage are significant and still powerfully relevant today, making this play a must for every new generation.
Admission is $15 for the general public, and $12 for seniors and children under age 10. Group discounts are available. Tickets may be purchased at the door or online. Doors will open 30 minutes before show time for general seating in the USF Performing Arts Center at 431 W. Berry St., Fort Wayne. For more information on the play and performance dates/times, visit our website. “To Kill a Mockingbird” is produced by special arrangement with The Dramatic Publishing Company of Woodstock, Ill.
